FOMENTO DE CERÁMICA MEXICANA, A.C. (hereinafter referred to as the "ESCUELA NACIONAL DE CERÁMICA and/or ENC"), with its registered address for purposes of this Privacy Notice at Emiliano Zapata, ext. no. 46, int. 4, La Lagunilla, Zip Code 49350, Tapalpa, Jalisco, shall be responsible for the personal data provided by individuals (hereinafter referred to as “the Data Subject”). In compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (hereinafter referred to as "the Law"), we hereby inform you of the following:


ENC may collect personal identification information through the Data Subject with their full consent, which may include, but is not limited to: name, email address, mailing address, phone number, nationality, date of birth, gender, marital status, unique population registry code, company, image, among others.


In the case of job applications, ENC may additionally collect: desired position; willingness to relocate or travel; expected salary; education level; languages and proficiency level; professional experience; interests; skills, among others. For billing purposes, ENC may additionally collect: Federal Taxpayer Registry and tax regime.


If hired under the terms of the Federal Labor Law, ENC may additionally collect: Federal Taxpayer Registry, CURP (Unique Population Registry Code), social security number, religion, union affiliation, and basic health information. This is for the purpose of maintaining a complete employment file.


With regard to the processing of data considered sensitive under the Law, the Data Subject grants full consent herein and may exercise their ARCO rights in accordance with this document.


ENC may also collect information through the following means:



Likewise, during your visit to this website, ENC may automatically collect the following information regarding your computer and visit: (i) the domain and server from which you access the internet, (ii) the internet address of the website from which you directly accessed our page, if applicable, (iii) the date and time you entered our site, how long you stayed, and which areas you visited, (iv) information about your computer's operating system version and browser software. We may employ third parties to manage these tracking tools; however, under no circumstances do we obtain information regarding the individual identity of any visitor. These third parties are aligned with our privacy standards and will use the collected information only for the purposes for which they were contracted.


During the employment relationship, ENC uses various technological means of internal communication such as video calls or videoconferencing. The employee hereby consents that ENC may use their image and voice through photographs and video recordings resulting from their relationship with ENC.


In compliance with Article 14 of the Law, we inform you that the personal data collected by ENC will be managed and processed according to ENC’s general management and will be used for the following purposes: (i) to identify you; (ii) to locate you; (iii) to communicate with you; (iv) to contact you; (v) to send you information and/or goods; (vi) for statistical purposes; (vii) to review and address your comments; (viii) to send ENC's Newsletter; (ix) to inform you of promotions, workshops, and projects; (x) to invite you to participate in ENC’s social media; (xi) for advertising purposes; (xii) to comply with current legislation; (xiii) to analyze and respond to job applications; (xiv) to fulfill obligations arising from the relationship between the Data Subject and ENC; (xv) to comply with current legislation; (xvi) to notify you of changes to this Privacy Notice.


It is the responsibility of the Data Subject to ensure that the information provided to ENC is accurate and complete, as well as to inform ENC of any modifications to maintain up-to-date records.


The information provided to ENC will be properly safeguarded, stored, and protected using appropriate technological and physical means to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, or theft. Only strictly authorized persons—whether employees, subsidiaries, affiliates, or related companies—will have access to this information.


In the event that the personal data stored is required by an authority of any kind—due to legal process, to respond to claims or legal actions, or to protect the rights of ENC, its clients, or the public—such data may be made available in strict compliance with the Law.


Data Subjects have the right to request Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition (ARCO) regarding the processing of their data, by submitting a written request to the Communications Department at: relaciones.publicas@escuelanacionaldeceramica.org during business hours from 08:00 to 17:00 on working days.


ENC will respond to the Data Subject’s requests. In order to be processed, the request must include and be accompanied by the following:



ENC shall have a period of 20 (twenty) business days from the date the request is received, or from the time the data subject complies with the information request, to inform the data subject whether or not the request is accepted, in accordance with Article 33 of the Law. If the request is accepted, it will be implemented within the following 15 (fifteen) days. These deadlines may be extended once for an equal period when justified.


Data Subjects may revoke their consent for the processing of their data at any time by submitting their request as outlined above and meeting the stated requirements, so that ENC may carry out the described procedure.


In the event that ENC requires the use of your Personal Data for purposes different from those agreed upon or set forth in the legal relationship with the Data Subject, ENC shall notify the Data Subject through written, telephone, electronic, or any optical, sound, visual, or other technological means now existing or that may exist in the future, explaining the new intended uses of the information in order to obtain the necessary authorization.


Through this Privacy Notice, Data Subjects are duly informed of the data collected from them and the purposes thereof, accepting the terms established in compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.


ENC reserves the right to amend this policy to adapt it to legislative or jurisprudential developments, as well as to industry practices. In such case, changes will be announced on this website with reasonable notice prior to their implementation.


ENC may amend this Privacy Notice in accordance with reforms and guidelines issued by the Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance, which may be viewed through publication on the website: www.escuelanacionaldeceramica.com


This Privacy Notice, as well as the general handling of the Law by ENC, is governed by the applicable legislation of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from its application shall be submitted to the competent Jurisdictional Authorities in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
